Hi! My name is Zulmira Logue. I’m a mom to the most beautiful little girl, a person forever in awe of the natural wonder that surrounds us, and incredibly lucky to have made a career out of capturing love in a way that you and your family will cherish forever.
I’m an observer––even without a camera in hand, I’m always fascinated by the sunset, registering the way the light shines through a window, the trees, and the clouds. Art has always been a part of my life in various forms from dance to oil painting, and receiving a film camera for my 9th birthday was the start of two decades spent joyfully taking photos of friends, family, and the world as I traveled through it, but it wasn’t until 2021 that I decided to make it my job. I enrolled in a number of classes and workshops and studied enthusiastically while continuing to practice on family and clients, and I’m excited to continue learning throughout my career.
Along with growing through education, I owe so much of my success and progress to motherhood. Bearing witness as my daughter explores the world around her––watching her facial expressions and body language as she learns a new dance move, runs down an unfamiliar path, or tries a food for the first time––has become the most valuable source of inspiration and a constant trigger of my creativity. As a parent, I know I would hold on to every bit if I could, which is why the opportunity to freeze the moments for you and your family to keep for generations is an honor I don’t take for granted.
The satisfaction of my clients is important to me, and so I’d like to offer some essential advice: come to your session relaxed and ready to have fun with the people you love most in the world. Got an active child? Movement is everything to me, so you can sit back and enjoy as they play and I capture their true essence. Think about your personal journey––all that you’ve been through, every moment of excitement and uncertainty and difficulty and happiness––and allow yourself to feel every bit of pride, gratitude, silliness, and love. I’ll take care of the rest.
